On-Time Status Appeal

The California priority deadline for filing a FAFSA and CA Dream Application is March 2nd. If you filed a FAFSA or CA Dream Application after the due date you may have limited eligibility for Financial Aid programs including University Grant, Cal Grant, or Work-Study. If you have special circumstances which prevented you from filing a FAFSA or CA Dream Application by the March 2nd deadline you are encouraged to file an On-Time Status Appeal in order to be awarded as if you were an on-time applicant.

Student selected for verification are required to submit those documents by the deadline listed on their checklist. If you are one of those students and you missed your deadline you can also submit an on-time status appeal to be re-considered for all aid once you have turned in all of your documents and they have been verified.

How to Apply

Submit a completed On-Time Status Appeal online. Submit any supporting documentation to our office, if applicable.
