Applying for Aid

at UC Merced is as easy as 1,2,3!
1) Complete and submit the University of California Application of Admissions and Scholarships by November 30th. For additional information or assistance, please contact the Office of Admissions/Relations with Schools and Colleges.
 
2) Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and a Cal Grant GPA Verification form by March 2nd. Don't pay someone to help you complete the Fafsa. If you would like assistance in completing your FAFSA, you may attend a Cash for College workshop or contact  our office at (209)228-4243. We would be happy to help you.
 
3) Complete and return any additional documents requested by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. All additional requirements can be viewed by logging into MyFinancialAid once you have been admitted to the University.
