Applying for a Student Loan involves five steps:

  1. Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  2. Submit any additional documents requested by the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office before the June 1 deadline
  3. Accept loans at your My.UCMerced.edu
  4. Complete your Master Promissory Note
  5. Complete your Entrance Counseling

It is usually not a good idea to respond to unsolicited ads from lenders about education loans. Please contact us before you apply for a student loan.
